Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOP)

AOPs combine UV light with hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) or ozone to generate hydroxyl radicals (•OH), which are highly reactive and effective at breaking down organic pollutants and inactivating pathogens.

Used for treating complex or resistant contaminants like pharmaceuticals, pesticides, and endocrine-disrupting compounds.
