Base Dosing

Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH) – Caustic Soda: A strong base used to raise pH in both drinking water and wastewater treatment. It reacts quickly with acidic components to neutralize the water.

Calcium Hydroxide (Ca(OH)₂) – Lime: Used to raise pH and also adds alkalinity to the water, which can help in precipitating heavy metals and improve coagulation processes.

Magnesium Hydroxide (Mg(OH)₂): Offers a slower, more controlled neutralization process compared to sodium hydroxide, and is particularly useful in reducing corrosion in pipes and equipment.
