UV/Hydrogen Peroxide (UV/H₂O₂)

• Ultraviolet (UV) light is combined with hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) to produce hydroxyl radicals. This method is widely used in water and wastewater treatment to degrade a wide range of organic contaminants.

Advantages: Effective for the removal of organic micropollutants, pharmaceuticals, and endocrine-disrupting compounds (EDCs). Also useful for color removal in water.
